THE SPORTACUS TEAM
Sportacus as a company is only as good as its staff which is why we employ qualified and experienced coaches to run sessions for our clients. All of our coaches have current and up to date DBS checks, regularly update their knowledge and responsibilities on safeguarding children and all of our staff and sessions are covered by our public liability insurance policy.
All of our football coaches are FA qualified to a minimum of level 1 and have current emergency first aid, FA safeguarding and CRC checks.
Harry is the founder & owner of Sportacus ltd. For most of his life Harry has been involved in football from grassroots all the way up to the premiership, representing clubs such as West Ham United, Crystal Palace & Reading. He was also Bromley Town's youngest ever player and goal scorer. When he left football Harry created Sportacus and it has gone from strength to strength, sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience with various schools, private companies, individuals and football clubs. Harry is also a qualified nutritionist and personal trainer and offers advice on both. You will always find H leading a session as this is where he is happiest.
Jack is our senior coach and for good reason. Jack has been in and around all types of sport from a very young age. He reached a high level at Taekwondo early on, represented Kent & England at lawn Bowls, played for Fulham deaf F.C. for 5 years and topped his footballing career by representing the U.K. at the European deaf championships. Jack is also fluent in British sign language and is an accomplished long distance runner. Because of his experience Jack runs a variety of clubs across the board for sportacus
Stacey is one of two performing arts teachers at Sportacus. She has choreographed and performed in hundreds of shows all over the country, Regularly performed at Disneyland Paris and achieved champ level in disco and freestyle. Stacey also takes her students to perform in the west end at Her Majesty's theatre once a year.
Ben is our very first assistant coach coming through the Sportacus ranks. He closely shadows our coaches in sessions and is learning the skills needed to eventually lead on his own. Ben thoroughly enjoys football sessions and is due to set out on his football journey by completing his FA level 1 coaching badge.
Grant is the newest member of the Sportacus team and brings with him over 19 years of experience working with children and young people. Grant started out in play work qualifying as both a swimming teacher and lifeguard in the process. He then jumped to youth work, working in some challenging situations on Europe's biggest housing estate. During this time he earned his FA badges and discovered a new passion for coaching & managing youth football teams.
